Barbara Jones Skipper

Barbara Jones Skipper, 69, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 3:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until 2:45pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home or may be contacted at the residence of David and Lynn Trescott.

Ms. Skipper was born in Fort Valley, Georgia to the late Sam and Ruby Blanche Giles Jones and was preceded in death by her son, Tracy Skipper, and grandson, Hunter Skipper. She retired from the installation department of Bell South, formerly Southern Bell, after 30 years. Ms. Skipper was a Christian with a Baptist Faith and enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her son, Dewey Eddie Skipper; grandchildren, T.J. (Ashley) Skipper, Kristen Skipper, Brooklyn Skipper and Randi (Jacob) Folds; great grandchildren, Mia Skipper, Harley Skipper, Allie Folds, Abby Folds and Aiden Tidwell; siblings, Ruby Marshall, Daniel (Jill) Jones, Everett (Michelle) Jones and Lynn (David) Trescott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
