Ann Heath, 70, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at a local hospital. Memorial services and a celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m., Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with Ann’s cousin, Rev. Linda Marcola officiating. The family will meet friends following the service.
Ms. Heath, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Holmes and Flora V. Garrett Holmes was born in Macon and was a graduate of Dudley Hughes High School and attended Central Georgia Tech. She was a courier with Pony Express retiring after seven years. Ms. Heath was of the Baptist Faith and attended Christ Chapel. She loved spending time with friends and family, shopping and lengthy phone conversations, and being of an extremely giving nature, wanted to help friends and family any way she could. Ann loved to cook, especially baking and enjoyed cooking shows and TBN programs on TV.
Left to cherish her love and her memory are those she loved most, her daughter, Angie (Joe) Dyer; her Siblings, Sharon H. Gilbert, Frank Holmes, Judy L. Post and Gary G. Holmes; her beloved grandchildren, Brandon (Regina) Dyer, Jeramy (Cynthia) Dyer, Matthew Dyer and Mark Dyer; thirteen great grandchildren with another on the way; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
