Ann McCuen Hardison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 85. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Noon in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Hardison and the Rev. Robbie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Building Fund, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon GA 31220 or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.
She was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Jessie Vasco and Edna Lee Morris McCuen. She was married to the love of her life, the late Bill Hardison for 64 years. Ann was educated in the Bibb County School system and worked for years at A.S. Hatcher Company. She had the heart of a true servant, a caregiver to numerous friends and family members. Ann was involved in many ministries at Tabernacle Baptist Church including teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, working in the nursery and preparing meals. She loved her family dearly, attending sporting events and other activities of her children and grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her many caregivers and to Pine Pointe Hospice for their compassionate care.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Hardison (Angie) of Macon, Mark Hardison (Elaine) of Macon, and daughter, Leann Roberson (Christian) of Winder, grandchildren, Joey, Rick, Hamilton, Erik, Kurt, Liza, Elizabeth, Jack, Catherine, and William, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Carolyn Griffin and brother, Charles (Susie) McCuen and several nieces and nephews.
