Andy “Rudy” Prince, 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Stephens officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service. Masks and social distancing is required for inside services.
Rudy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elbert L. and Martha Bryan Prince. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Prince. Rudy was a self-employed electrician and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake with family and friends. He was an avid fan of NASCAR. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Karen S. Prince of Byron; children, Sherri (Robbie) Thrasher of Byron, Tabatha (Craig) Findley of Fort Valley; son-in-law, Jimmy Harper; grandchildren, Andy Harper, Justin (Ashley) Harper, Josh Harper, Devin Baker, Drew McNeal, Carley Findley, Brian (Kiely) Thrasher and Hunter Thrasher; great grandchildren, Ansley, Easton, Avery, Anistyn Harper, Dalstin Baker, Madison Harper entering this world in October; sister, Pam (Tommy) Walker; brother, Rusty (Cindy) Prince and several nieces and nephews.
