Amelia Deep White, 97, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. A Liturgy Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Deacon Don Coates officiating. Burial will be immediately following at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation and luncheon reception following interment at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Amelia was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John and Mary Tabet Deep. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Milton White, daughter, Diane Elizabeth White, sister, Sadye Deep Union, four brothers, Michael Deep, Johnny Deep, Joe Deep and George Deep. Amelia was a lifelong devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her children, Starlette Rose McHale of Tallahassee, FL, Valerie Jean Wheeler of Milledgeville, Laura Lee White of Decatur, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
