God used Mr. Fleming with his gifted voice to lead congregational singing and small choirs in small churches, sing with the Camp Meeting Boys Quartet, The Alliancemen Trio, different church groups and his own family. His greatest joy was singing gospel music and hymns in churches, homecomings, and at revival meetings with his family . He also had many requests to sing at numerous funerals and some weddings. If he wasn't singing, he could often be heard whistling and could even whistle in harmony with his daughter!
