Alice Ann Hamrick West passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. Graveside services at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, www.komen.org
Alice was born in Blakely, Georgia the daughter of the late Ila Cummings Hamrick and John G. Hamrick and was preceded in death by her siblings, Douglas Hamrick, Stella McKinney, Joyce Ellerbee, and Johnny Hamrick. She was retired from Georgia Tech as a administrator to the vice-presidents and was a member of Joshua's Place in Jackson, Georgia.
Alice is survived by her husband, Douglas T. West of Macon; grandchildren, Karlie Nobles and Tuesday Nobles; brother, Robert Eugene Hamrick (Donna); several nieces and nephews.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road, has charge of arrangements.
