Alice M. Peacock

Alice Louise McCarty Peacock, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 16, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel Mausoleum of Macon Memorial Park with Pastor Joe McDaniel and Dr. Rick Lanford officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.

Alice was born on November 15, 1936 in Dodge County, Georgia to the late Freeman and Mildred McCarty. She was retired from Macon Battery Company. Alice was a member of Musella Baptist Church and the Adult 5 Women’s Class.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Peacock; sister Francis Collins, and brother Jimmy McCarty. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lu Peacock of Musella; son, Wally Peacock of Macon, and grandson Trevor Peacock of Stockbridge; sisters, Blanch Morgan of Dawson and Flo Fountain of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
