Alice was my closest and dearest friend for right at 50 yrs. we met when I was still in school and she worked at Majic Market we saw each other everyday and weekends I stayed with her. We had so much in common from the food we ate to the things we liked. We had a blast in everything we did. Laid in the sun by the pool for days on end. We promised to keep things between us. Not to break promises and to honor our friendship which I did more than anything in this whole wide world. I wanted to come spend more time with you since I came back from Florida but I have had a hard time after loosing Reece and getting injured in the wreck where I’m not able to drive. But we did talk some not as much as we should have, but you knew how much I loved you and what you have always meant to me my friend. I will carry you with me always and we will be together again and times will be so much better. Until then give Sonja a kiss and tell Belinda hello for me and I will see you soon.

I thought the world of Alice! She was such a sweet lady. I  work at Dixie Cleaners and when she would drop off or pick up her and Aubreys drycleaning she would stay a few minutes just to talk  to us and we got to know her. She will be missed😥 Rest in peace Alice❣️

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and many friends. I know she touched the lives of so many people over the years. AP's was a wonderful place for food, fellowship and friendship. I never saw anyone that did not feel welcome. She cared and was generous with her time, smiles and encouragement.  She is now surrounded by all the people she met and loved throughout her years. I am sure that they are have a wonderful party! Heck, she may be redecorating Heaven! She may be gone but not forgotten! RIP Alice!

I'm so sorry to hear about this. She was a very nice lady. I knew her for many years and she was always so nice and sweetheart. She will be missed by all.  

Richard played for many years at APs with several bands but mostly with the  Skeeterz.  He & Alice were always laughing & fussing about money but they always came together at the end. I didn’t go very often but enjoyed it when I did, I even took my older friends who thoroughly loved it. Richard I would often ride the motorcycle  up to Macon on Sunday afternoons for Alice’s good home cooking. APs was a little like Cheers, everyone always knew your name & Alice ran a great business. Praying for all the family. 

I am very sorry to hear about Alice’s passing! She was a good friend to me and my band mates for 18+ years. We have missed her presence for a while now and are saddened to know that it is permanent now! My deepest condolences to all of her family and prayers for peace and comfort to all left behind! 🙏❤️

I remember Alice growing up in Fort Valley and I also lived up the street from the Swinfords on College Street when I was 13 years old.
I also worked with Mrs Wanda Reynolds at the old Peach County Hospital.
I also ran into Alice at APs when my husband Herman Nixon played with the Wall there. 
I am so sorry for your loss . My thoughts and Prayers are with the family for Peace and Comfort.

If I were to share memories, it would be a novel because God blessed me with this beautiful lady almost 40 years ago. We went so many places together, Las Vegas many times, New Orleans and countless times to Panama City Beach and that by far was her favorite place to go. Alice would call me and say pack your bag, I’ll be there in 30 minutes and she would be. :-) I can hardly remember a time in my life that she wasn’t my best friend and part of me left with her Wednesday but I will treasure and be grateful for every moment we 
shared and not a day will pass that I will not think of her. I’d give everything I have to go back to when this picture was taken and do it all over again! I love you more is what she’d always tell me when I said I love you. So Alice, I love you more and will see you again one fine day.  Rest In Peace my Angel
