Alan Ray Bolden, 64, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February, 21, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Ward officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice of Macon, 6060 Lakeside Commons Road, Macon GA 31210 or Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, 5774 School Road, Macon GA 31206.
Alan was born in Villa Rica, Georgia to the late Harry L. and Ruth Bolden. He was preceded in death by a son, Clinton A. Bolden. Alan served in the United States Air Force and was of the Methodist faith. He was a salesman of Nabisco/ Kraft Foods and was a Cookies and Crackers Pepperidge Farm Franchise owner. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barnes Bolden of Lizella, son; “Buck” Bolden and Luke Webster of Dallas, TX, daughter-in-law; Fonda M. Bolden, brother; Larry Bolden, five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
