Trevor Scott Davis, 28, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday September 30, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Trevor was born February 5, 1992 in Saint Croix Falls, WI, the son of Kelly Davis and Shannon Davis. He was employed as a welder at Custom Aluminum, a subsidiary of Liebovich Brothers. Trevor enjoyed golfing with his dad, fishing with his best friend, Trent and traveling to Colorado. He loved art, drawing and was eager to learn new things. Trevor adored bull dogs, especially Moose and Diezel. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Trevor was everything to everybody. He played multiple roles in everyone’s life whether it be a son, a brother, a boyfriend, a best friend, a support system, a golf partner, or a fishing buddy, Trevor took pride in everything he did and gave it his everything. He truly was the greatest man. Trevor loved movie days with his girlfriend and home cooked meals from his sister and mom. Trevor was interested in a variety of things from welding to horticulture to fishing and shooting guns. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially Sunday dinners. Trevor is loved and will truly be missed.
Trevor is survived by his parents, Kelly Davis and Shannon Davis; siblings, Nicholas Davis and Haley Davis; girlfriend, Courtney Clements; nieces, Kailie and Angel; maternal grandparents, Rodney and Jackie Moody; paternal grandmother, Donna Davis; uncles and aunt, Kevin Davis, Kyle Davis, Kris Davis, Kimberly Murphy, and uncle, Chris Moody; as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lorne Davis, aunt Kari Davis, great-grandparents, Lois and Don Moody, father of his girlfriend Neil Clements.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Cremation rites have taken place.
