Tommie Jean Westcott, 68, of Rockford, passed away on Friday March 4, 2011 at Swedish American Hospital. Tommie was born in Walnut Ridge, AK. Tommie enjoyed spending time with her family. Tommie is survived by her Mother; Loretta Aske and Step-Father Dean Aske, of Rockton, Her Brother Bill (Ida) Thompson of Rockton, Her life partner; Don Ballard of Rockford, Her Son; Ronald Westcott Jr. of Rockford, Her Daughters; Debbie Scharwarth of Rockford, Laurie Estelle of Rockford, Sharon (Tom) Johnson of Machesney Park, and Tracey (Shane) Roberson of Machesney Park, 15 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 1 aunt, 3 nephews, and several cousins. Tommie was preceded in death by her Father; Curtis Thompson, and a Nephew, Chad Thompson. A memorial service will be held on Friday March 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Rd.
