Steven R. Knutson

Steven Robert Knutson, 61, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born May 4, 1956 in Rockford, IL. Son of Raymond and Sally (Ver Kuilen) Knutson. Graduate of Stillman Valley High School. United in marriage to Christy Cunningham on June 24, 1995 in their home. Steven found enjoyment in fishing, camping, feeding and watching the birds and he loved to cook. He was a diehard Green Bay Packer and Chicago White Sox fan. He owned and operated Blue Ribbon Premier Hardwood Flooring. Along with his family he loved his Pomeranian dogs.

Survived by his wife, Christy; children, Ryan Knutson, Adam (Beth) Knutson, Steven Knutson, Maggie Edwards, Amy Edwards; grandchildren, Brea Edwards, Laci Mae Knutson, Audrina Knutson, Benjamin Otwell; mother, Sally Knutson; sister, Vickie Knutson; special friends, Ron Taylor, Pete Taylor, Jeremy and Jacki Snider, Darcy Corbin; former wife and friend, Jody Rostamo; special dogs, Diva, Pippi, Sadie, Sophia. Predeceased by father, Raymond Knutson.
