Sandra "Sandy" Lee (Buczynski) Tucker, 71, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday November 21, 2015 at home surrounded by her loved ones after an extended illness. Born October 20, 1944 in Rockford, IL. Daughter of Stanley and Ruth (Burd) Buczynski. Graduated from West High School in 1964. Married Clyde Tucker Sr. on November 22, 1968 in Rockford, IL. Employed as a Lunch Lady for Rockford Public Schools and most recently at Baskin Robbins. Together with her loving husband she enjoyed traveling, casinos and seeing Elvis impersonators. Survivors include husband Clyde; children, Clyde (Ericka), Tabitha and Greg; grandchildren, Shawnquez Edwards, Christopher Robinson, Simeo Jordan, Paige Tucker, Xavier Tucker, Mackenzie Ryan, Anaria Miller, Jaxon Tucker, Brooklynn Tucker; five great grandchildren; brother Dennis (Betty) Buczynski; best friend Becky Anderson and who she considered a second daughter Shannon Johnson; her faithful companion Smooch. Predeceased by her parents. Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL. Visitation at 1 p.m. till time of service. Burial immediately following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
