Richard Louis Lindenberg, 90, of Delevan Wisconsin, passed away at home on Thursday, March 11 surrounded by family. He was born May 20 1930, to the late Albert & Julia Lindenberg, raised in Rockford. Formerly from Rockford, IL., Lauderdale Lakes, WI., and Port Charlotte, FL. Attended Lincoln High School and served in the Navy. Married his love, Patricia Devine on Oct. 14, 1950 and raised 4 children.
He is survived by sons Gary ( Laurie ), Jeff, David, & daughter Christy, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Joyce Hauser, Delores Hogeland, and Maryann Kliman. He was preceded in death by wife Patricia. Operated Lindys Electric for years. At his home on Lauderdale Lakes, he enjoyed pontooning, snowmobiling, woodworking and making stools for his grandkids. Enjoyed many winters in Florida. The family of Richard wish to express our gratitude to Aurora Hospice.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10 am at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a visitation to be held from 9:00 a.m., until the time of services. Luncheon will be afterwards at Sam's on Harlem.
