Richard F. Hull

Richard F. Hull, 64, of Rockford, passed away on May 15, 2011 in Swedish American Hospital. Born April 7, 1947 in Harvard, IL the son of Albert and Lydia (Hardt) Hull. Married Lois Mild on January 18, 1969 in Rockford. Richard retired in 1998 from the Rockford Police Department after 28 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Packers and NASCAR Fan and enjoyed spoiling his granddaughters. Survived by his wife, Lois Hull; sons, Gregory (Shannon) Hull and Michael (Lisa) Hull; granddaughters, Hannah and Hailey Hull; step-grandson, Anthony Sorrentino; mother, Lydia Hull; brothers, Gary (Marne) Hull and Kevin (Caroline) Hull; several nieces and nephews and 2 devoted dogs, Cali and Zoe. Predeceased by his father, Albert Hull. Funeral services at 10 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 6-8 pm on Tuesday May 24, 2011 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Swedish American Foundation for New Regional Cancer Center.
