Phillip Reuben Larson, 88, of Rockford, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 17. Born February 29, 1936, in Moline, IL, he is the son of Albert E. And Hazel A. (Hagberg). He served in the U. S. Army and National Guard from 1961-1964. He worked 45 years at Rockford Products. For many years he attended First Evangelical Free Church in Moline, and First Evangelical Free Church in Rockford. In the latter years he attended Cross Point Church in Rockford.
He is survived by his brother, Ture Edward Larson of Orlando, Florida, nephews Stephen (Jennifer) Larson of Jupiter, Florida, and Robert Larson of Rockford and several cousins in the U. S. and in Sweden.
A visitation for Phillip will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Phillip will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115-2277.
