Matthew L. Branch, 47, of Machesney Park IL passed away October 15, 2020. He was born on November 3, 1972 in Springfield, Missouri to Pamela Anderson and Rocky Branch. Matt graduated from Harlem High school, and served the Rockford area as a cook at various restaurants. He loved rock music, and going to concerts. He spent his time enjoying online gaming, playing dungeons and dragons, and everything Star Trek.
He is survived by his mother; Pamela Melton, his sister; Jeanne- Inez Branch, nieces; Arin and Saraih Thomas, as well as numerous cousins. He is also survived by many friends he loved as family.
A limited walk through visitation is scheduled for Thursday 10/22 from 1pm to 3pm at Sunset Funeral Home and memorial gardens. Funeral services are private to family.
