Margaret Mae Ippolito

Margaret married Joseph Ippolito on November 17, 1951 until his passing in 2007.

She was employed as a salesperson at Lindberg’s Vacuum and Appliance and enjoyed crosswords, puzzles, knitting, cards, crocheting and baking.

She is survived by her children; Curt (Lisa) Ippolito, and Jeff (Susan) Ippolito; grandchildren, Jason(Elizabeth) Ippolito - South Pasadena, CA, Leann (Patrick) Young - Mound, MN, and Jared Ippolito - Chicago, IL, siblings; Betty Murphy-Orange Park, FL; Nancy Bissman, Otto (Judy) Peucker- Hillsboro, NH, and Mavis (Dana) Caldwell; god daughter, Tami Spencer and several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special canine companion- Maggie

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband; Joseph; her parents, Otto and Ruth; and siblings; Patricia Gucciardo, Charlotte Pottratz and Robert Peucker.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, January 6, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Pastor Ron Meyer will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm on the day of service. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
