Marcia Jensen

Marcia V. Jensen, 62, of Simpsonville, SC, formerly of Rockford, died on October 30, 2010. Born December 16, 1947 in Rockford the daughter of Burdette and LaVon Brauer. Married Richard Jensen on September 12, 1969 in Rockford. Marcia drove a school bus for the Harlem School District for many years and the worked at Woodward Governor for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, golfing and working crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful and caring wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Survived by husband of 41 years, Richard Jensen; children Amy Jensen and Graig (Paula) Jensen; grandchildren, Parker and Alyssa; great-grandson, Keegan; father, Burdette Brauer; brothers, Daryl (Pamela) Brauer and Denny (Lisa) Brauer; sisters, Brenda, Tamra and Kim Brauer; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend, Lynn Moore. Predeceased by her mother, LaVon Brauer. Memorial service at 10 am on Monday, November 22, 2010 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Inurnment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
