Liam Michael Willis

Liam Michael “Sweetness” Willis of Machesney Park, IL gained his angel wings on December 10, 2023 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Liam was born on January, 2014, in Rockford, IL. Liam is the son of Tierney Wicks and Jonathan Willis.

Liam loved playing with his Shopkins and marbles, listening to his favorite music while doing the “Liam cha-cha”. Liam loved spending time with his family and friends. Liam was a light to everyone, no matter what he always made sure to tell anyone he spoke to his favorite jokes, always affecting people with his contagious laughter. Liam loved animals and taking walks on the bike path feeding the ducks and the geese. He always dreamt of opening his own restaurant called “Liam's Fancy Restaurant”.

Liam is survived by his parents, grandparents Angie (BFF) and Jeff (GPA) Wilhelms, grandma Melissa Willis (Grandma Lissa), Grandparents Tim (PeePaw) and Julie (Yarah) Guler. Grandparents Spencer and Janelle Davies, Great Grandparents Susan (GrandGrandma) and Jim Nicholas (Papa), and Great Grandma Judith Willis. Aunt (BFF) Karly Lewandowski, Aunts Frankie and Daffney Guler And Aunt Corrina Borcherts and Uncle Dakota Borcherts.

Liam's Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park, IL 61115.
