Lee E. Norman

Lee E. Norman, 81, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on March 7, 2025.Lee was born in Rockford, Illinois on January 24, 1944 to Leonard and Althea Norman. Lee attended Harlem High School and later found his passion in his career. He spent over 35 years dedicated to his work at Header Die & Tool before retiring. On October 31, 1962, Lee married the love of his life, Patricia Williams. Lee’s love for true crime television was well known to those who knew him, as he enjoyed many days and evenings watching his favorite shows.

Lee survived by his sons, Steven Norman and Chris (Michelle) Norman; daughter, Tracy (Jeremy) Cartwright; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Georgie (the late Don) Osborne, Robert (Diane) Norman, Barb (the late De) Alberts, William (Janice) Norman, and Connie (Darrell) Magnuson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Norman; parents, Leonard and Althea Norman; siblings, Rosalie Norman and his identical twin, Leo Norman.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10am until the graveside service at 11am at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
