Kathleen E Gladson

Kathleen Gladson, 63, of Rockford, passed away on December 5, 2012 surrounded by her family. She fought a courageous battle against diabetes for 59 years, never defeated; she surrendered to the loving arms of Jesus. Born on October 16, 1949 in Rockford, she was the daughter of Melvin and Evelyn (McCord) Fridh. She married Charles Gladson on August 7, 1970 in Rockton.

Kathleen truly loved God and life. She also loved dogs, birds, and collecting Victorian Antiques.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles Gladson; her mother, Evelyn Fridh; sister, Susan Fridh Moris; brothers, Mike (Jan) and Steve Fridh; niece, Alecia Bennett; nephew, Derek Johnson; niece, Nina Moris; nephew, Steven Fridh, Jr.; nephew, Kyle Fridh; niece, Nicole (Matt) Fridh Stubil; nephew, Brandon (Annie) Fridh; great niece, Brooklyn Bennet Jones; sisters-in-law, Carla (James) Barnes, and Renee (John) Nix.
