Jane A. Faivre, 77, of Rockton, IL, passed away, Monday, November 13, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 24, 1946 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Leroy and Viola (Dahlgren) Sholl. Jane graduated from Rockford West High School, class of 1964. She was employed as a secretary for many years, and retired from Kerry Ingredients in Beloit. Jane was a member of the Red Hat Society and had a special group of lifelong girlfriends that she cherished. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Jane adored her family, going on family vacations, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Jane is loved and missed by her children, Melanie (Christopher) Lee, Cathy (Bob) Schneider and Tom (Susan) Faivre; grandchildren, Jenna Schneider, Kara Schneider, Macy Lee, Jason Lee, Sam Faivre, Seth Faivre and Ella Faivre; beloved dog, Bella; twin sister, Judy Krause; brother, Tom (Mereva) Sholl; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Entombment to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
