Glen M. Molck, 77, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Thursday evening, December 20, 2018 at Swedish American Hospital. He was born April 17, 1941 in Paxton, IL, the son of Henry and Christine (Schmidt) Molck. Glen married Gloria Baker in 1963. His career spanned for over 40 years in tool and die repair at Rockford Products. Glen loved having fun with family and friends and traveling to Florida with Gloria, the love of his life. He enjoyed coaching softball, gardening, golfing and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
Glen is loved and missed by his children, Bryan (Karen), David (Sue), Christopher (Shawna), and Andy; grandchildren, Shadrach, Eli, Nick, Cody, Samantha, Kohl, Alyssa (Austin) Fox, Riley, Shawnee, Delaney, and Madisyn; great-grandchild, Paxton; sister, Dorlyn (Armand) Ditman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who adored him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Gloria in 2016.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the funeral home. Entombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
