Georgina Kay Perez

Georgina was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa on March 9th,1969 to Linda Nevel(Kepler) and Garry Sammons. She attended high school at North Boone in Belvidere, IL. She married Martin Perez on April 29th, 2003. Georgina's life was filled with memories of being a mom to her son, Joseph Frewin and daughter, Cheyenne Sammons. Georgina took great pride in becoming a grandmother to Emma, Wyatt, and Eileen. In her recent years she enjoyed working at AMC 14, Cherry Bowl, and Viking Lanes.

Georgina is survived by her husband, Martin, her son Joseph, his wife Breana and their children, her daughter Cheyenne, and her furry babies, Simba and Shaddow.

She is also survived by her mother, Linda(Jeff)Nevel, Step mom, Louanne Sammons, her brothers, Tod (Dawn) Sammons and Shane (Angela) Sammons, her Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Dana Sheehan and many more loved ones.

A memorial service for Gina is scheduled for Saturday February 5, 2022 at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park IL 61115. A visitation will take place at 1pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to https://gofund.me/ed54b649
