Georgia Ann Parmer, age 77, of Winnebago, Illinois passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 24, 2024. She was born on July 17, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee to Mabel (Hopkins) and John Buntjer. She married the love of her life, Roger Parmer on December 17, 1977 and they spent 46 wonderful years together.
Georgia loved gambling on slot machines, playing Pacman, and doing puzzles. She loved to keep a clean house, especially her bed, which she always kept perfectly made. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; children, Tammy (Tom) Bargman, Tom (Allison) Hawkins, Scott (Diane) Hawkins, Becky Parmer, Tammy (Danny) Heslop, Billie Jo (Bill) Heubel, Timmy (Sherry) Parmer, and Angie (Nick) Severson; grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Zac, McKenna, Caden, Cameron, Chelsea, Colton, Emma, Owen, and Olivia; great-grandchild, Saylor; siblings, Joan, Johnny, Rusty, Jackie, Terri, and Jimmy; and niece, Ginny Buntjer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and John Buntjer; and child, Mark Parmer.
Pallbearers will be Tom Hawkins, Scott Hawkins, Timmy Parmer, Tom Bargman, Nick and Owen Severson.
