Eva E Roberts

Eva Elizabeth Roberts, 88, of Rockford passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born January 25, 1922 in Mounds, IL, the daughter of Leo and Elizabeth (Lovellette) Lingle. Eva worked as a waitress for 45 years until retirement. She married Craig Roberts on June 17, 1955; he preceded her in death August 30, 1991. Survivors include her step- son, Tom Roberts of AZ, nieces Gayle Rentsch of Lake St. Louis, MO, Louis Anderson, Mary and Eva all of WI, Audrey Weber of Foristel, IL, Bertha Jett of Lake St. Louis, MO, Olive Mc-Cully of Fairfield, IL and Birdie Tucker of Plalaski, IL, nephews, Harry Ellen of Zion, IL, Norman Mier, Homer Mier both of Fairfield, IL and Clyde Mier of Dexter, MO. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Services will be 10:00 am Friday, September 10, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine, and Machesney Park, IL 61115.
