Emil L. LeBeau, 87, of Rockford, passed away February 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Born January 9, 1928 in Rockford; he was the son of Oscar and Marie (Fiori) LeBeau. He married Betty Sandine on September 27, 1947 in Rockford.
A member of the Blackhawk Woodcarvers Club, Emil retired from Amerock after more than 40 years of employment.
He enjoyed fishing, woodcarving, golf, bowling, gambling, RVing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his son-in-law, Armand (Sue) DeLeeuw; grandchildren, Christopher DeLeeuw (Rema Timm), Amy Quinn, Armand Deleeuw, Jennifer Maddox, and Patty (Chris) Marquette; great-grandchildren, Jade DeLeeuw and Anthony Quinn; great, great-grandchildren, Anthony, Cameron, and Gianna Quinn.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife, daughter, Christine DeLeeuw; sister, Donna Naugle.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Emil’s caregivers, Tomaz, Sara, and Wiesia.
