Ella Salivar

Ella Mae Salivar, 92, of Rockford died Friday, September 3, 2010 at Alma Nelson Nursing Home. Born December 5, 1917 in Tremont, MS the daughter of Turner and Lillie (Lewis) Kennedy. Survivors include her children Harold (Doris) DeVries Jr., Roger (Donna) DeVries both of Rockford, IL , and Dennis DeVries of Scottsdale, AZ, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three sisters Amelia Benhoff of Rockford, IL, Agnes Harris of San Antonio, TX and Mary Lou Baker of Festus, MO., and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister. Special thanks to the staff at Alden Alma Nelson for the care they gave Ella. Memorial Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Home, 8800 N. Alpine, Machesney Park, IL 61115.
