Connie Weir

Connie Weir, 77, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2019. Born September 13, 1941 in Floresville, TX. Daughter of Jose and Evangelina (Medina) Gonzales. After living and working her farm in Tennessee she relocated to Rockford with her family. Connie was last employed by the Rockford Housing Authority in the Administration department. She found enjoyment in cooking, crocheting, going to church and shopping. Connie was her best when she was surrounded by her family.

Survived by her children, Mike (Michele) Medlin, Mary (Charlie) Brown, Lisa (Jim) Hensley; son-in-law, Bob Bock; many grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; siblings, Judy, Toni, Albert, Ronnie and Jamie; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; daughters, Sherry Medlin and Tina Bock.

Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12 at Sunset Funeral Home. Visitation at 9 a.m. until time of service. Entombment at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
