Bonnie Marlene Myers, of Thayer, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born in Blair, Nebraska, on November 16, 1935, daughter of the late Howard and Vivian (Lyons) Sublett. During her working years, Bonnie was a school bus driver. Bonnie was united in marriage to William Fredrick Myers on April 25, 1962, in Loves Park, Illinois. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo, cards, working puzzles and was an avid reader.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, William Myers of Thayer, Missouri; son, Karl (Cindy) Myers of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Teresa Smith of Thayer, Missouri and Lisa (Hide) Hague of South Beloit, Illinois; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and good friends, Herman and Judy Bowers. She was preceded in death by her sons, Kerry Van Helden and Kevin Myers; daughter Yvonne Vasquez; parents and sister, Diana Goble and Marilyn Jean King.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115). Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
