Beloved Betty (Pike) Alexander went to be with her Savior on March 10, 2023. Born September 11, 1933 in Rockford, IL to Clarence and Eva Pike. She married Clayton Alexander on March 15, 1952. Betty was a graduate of Rockford East High School. She retired from Barber Colman in 1995. She was a faithful member of Hope Evangelical Free Church.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Catherine Alexander; sons, John (Linda) Alexander and Don (Joanne) Alexander; grandchildren, Melissa (Aaron) Fleming, Matthew (Wendy) Alexander and Sarah (Justin) Sabin; great-grandchildren, Bryanna (Thomas) Doran, Jacob Scharre (Erin Null), Degan Alexander, Olivia, Andrew and Lydia Fleming, Juniper and Hudson Alexander and Erin and Clayton Sabin; brothers-in-law, Dudley Alexander and Pete Staskel; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton, daughter Chris, parents Clarence and Eva and brother Lawrence Pike.

A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Evangelical Free Church.
