Arthur C. Miller, 82, of Machesney Park passed away Friday October 25, 2013 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital.
Arthur was born on January 28, 1931 in Rockford, the son of Fred and Rose Miller. Arthur was Lead Security Guard for Textron; he was affiliated with First Baptist Church of Rockford. Arthur loved his family and friends and would give you the shirt off his back if he could.
Arthur is survived by his children: Mary Miller, Rose Hembrook and Fred Miller; grandson Chris Hembrook; brother Fred Miller, Jr.
Arthur was preceded in death by wife Petra Miller and his parents.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
A visitation will be held for Arthur on Saturday November 2, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
