Amara Rodriguez, of Loves Park, Illinois passed away peacefully in her mother's arms on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born to Riley Gilbert and Michael Rodriguez III at Javon Bea Hospital and gently taken into the arms of Jesus and the heavenly angels.
Amara is survived by her parents, Riley Gilbert and Michael Rodriguez III; grandparents, Traci and Bob Gilbert, Amy and Cari Williams, and Michael Rodriguez II; great-grandparents, Jan Gilbert, Sheila Lilly, and Terry Lilly; aunts and uncles, Alejandra Rodriguez, Ezmerelda Rodriguez, Micaiah August, Kelaiah Williams, and Selena Rodriguez; and special cousins, Aamani Williams and Adalynn Matlock.
A visitation for Amara will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
