Willard was born on April 24, 1931 to parents Rufus and Eva Roper Justice in Franklin, North Carolina; he entered into rest on October 28, 2019 in the comfort of his home in Payne Springs, Texas at the age of 88. To those who knew him, Willard was known at “Bill”. He was a kind hearted and sweet man who loved telling jokes. Bill was always willing to help those in need; he was never a selfish man. He was always there for his children and his grandchildren if they needed him. He was known to be an honest man who would not hold back when asked for advice. When he was able, he loved to fish and play billiards. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, and even was a caddy at a golf course, which sparked his love for the sport. For over 30 years, he worked as a mechanic at Owens Corning. In 1982, he married Linda Sue Whatley in Irving, Texas.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers William Justice and Jack Roper.
He is survived by his children, Willard Justice Jr. of Lubbock, TX, Gregory Justice of Kings Mountain, NC, Frank Justice of Gastonia, NC, Charles Justice of Crosbyton, TX, Shirley Price of Milledgeville, GA, Katherine Jones of Gastonia, NC, Sally Mendoza of Richland Hills, TX, and Chrisandra Torres of Lubbock, TX. Willard is also survived by his siblings, Jessie William Justice of Dallas, NC, Louvene Wyatt of Clyde, NC, Doris Broome of Ranlo, NC, Truly Williams of Burnsville, NC, and Patricia Ann Justice of Burnsville, NC. Furthermore, he is survived by 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and many other family members and lifelong friends.
