Funeral services for Vonda June Thomas, 80, of Mabank, will be held 2 pm Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Mabank Church of Christ with Bob Patterson and Kerry Clark officiating. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas passed from this life October 18, 2022 in Athens. She was born September 6, 1942 in Van Zandt County to Byron and Floy Lee Autry Black.
June was a member of the Mabank Church of Christ. June helped her husband of 61 years, Norman, operate the Mabank Feed and Fertilizer Store for 15 years. She was also the co-owner of the JNT Angus Ranch. She lived for God, family and friends.
Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Lee Black; son, Barry Thomas; and sister, Oneta Hughey.
June is survived by her loving husband, Norman Clay Thomas; son and daughter-in-law, Joel Craig and Shelia Thomas; daughter, Vonda Thomas; two grandsons: Blaine and Bryce Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Blaine Thomas, Bryce Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Leslie Thomas, Charlie Thomas and Phillip Kulsa.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Mabank Church of Christ.
