Shirley Ann (Wimberley) Miller, affectionately called "Mema Moose", age 81, was born October 20, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas. Shirley went to be with the Lord June 2, 2024, at UT Health in Tyler, Texas. She has left a void in the hearts of all who loved her.
Shirley worked as a waitress, at a daycare for handicapped children, a plant nursery, a hardware store, a plumber’s helper, and finally retiring as a purchasing agent. She loved everyone she met and could remember all their names. Shirley didn’t like being married but she loved getting married (always in a white dress), going to Galveston and being on the beach. She loved warm weather so she could sit outside on her porch and mow on her zero turn. Her favorite was operating the backhoe.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claud William Wimberley; mother, Viola Wimberley; brother, R.W. Wimberley; sisters: Peggy Mercer, Vonna Beasley; and grandson, Brandon Yarbrough.
She is survived by her two sons: William Yarbrough (spouse - Peggy), Michael Yarbrough (spouse - Judy), grandchildren, Mickey Yarbrough (spouse-Brittany), Mandy Norton (spouse-Craig), Crystal Heynes, Shelly Rodriguez (spouse-Jordan); 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; along with a number of relatives and friends.
