Mrs. Sharon A. Shaw

Sharon was born on November 13, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to parents James H. and Eunice M. (Marrow) Poston and entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2014 at the age of 70. Sharon was known as “Mamaw” to all her grandchildren. She was strong in her faith and she loved her family and friends dearly. Sharon graduated from Mesquite High School and worked 22 plus years for Mabank ISD, where she received numerous honors and awards. She loved to travel; going to the ocean and being on the beach. Sharon enjoyed being outdoors; going on nature walks. She was an avid reader and loved going to the “Boats”. Sharon was a member of Halcyon Club of Mabank. She was the best mom, mamaw and wife. Sharon was a member of Central Baptist of Mabank. She was the most giving lady one could ever meet; she loved all people. Sharon will be remember as a very loving and caring lady who always thought, even to the end, that life was good. She will be truly missed by those who loved and knew her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Poston, granddaughter Brooke Marie Watson and brother-in-law Melvin Bishop.

She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Shaw, son James Shaw and wife Tammie, daughters; Peggy Everett and husband Adam and Kellie Armentrout and husband Marc, grandchildren; Eric Watson, Kim Santiago, Kurt Norman, Drew Norman, Reese Armentrout, Tate Armentrout, Kassie Shaw and Will Shaw, great-grandson Anden Watson, brother James Larry Poston and wife Loretta, sister Linda Bishop, other loving family members and many more friends.
