He was the husband of Nancy Marie Clamon Gray.
Born on November 10th, 1946, in Longview, Texas, Scotty was the son of W.H. Gray and Marion Johnson Gray.
Scotty graduated Marshall High School and also attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Scotty was a long time and well respected hot rodder. He built many hot rods over the years, some of which were featured on the hit show "American Hot Rod". Many of his hot rods won major awards across the country.
Scotty also built a very successful auto auction business and was honored by World Championship of Auctioneers.
Along with his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his son, Stephen Gray and his wife Toni, his daughter, Sherri Tilley and her husband Scott, his daughter, Marie Houston Adamson and her husband Bryan, as well as his daughter, Sarah Houston. Scotty is also survived by his seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A visitation for Scotty will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, TX. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, TX . A committal service will follow at King Cemetery in Kemp,Tx.
