Roy Dale Thomas

Roy Dale Thomas was born in Odessa, Texas on August 9, 1953 to parents Will Thomas and Dorothy (Foster) Thomas, and entered into rest on May 13, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. Roy was very much a hardworking family man, who enjoyed coaching his kids in sports when they were small but also would spend much of his time working to provide for his family. He enjoyed going camping, and going fishing with his family, he greatly enjoyed being outdoors. Roy was a tough but loving father; he was known to be ornery. On February 12, 1972 he began his marriage to Debbie Teague and had three beautiful children. Roy was a graduate of Mabank High School and worked in construction most of his life, until he retired as a supervisor in 2016. He will be greatly missed by those who were close to him.

Roy is survived by his wife Debbie Thomas, his children; Chris Thomas and wife Radawna, Elisha Thomas Ray, Brandon Thomas, grandchildren; Kendall Thomas, Jabe Thomas, Brice Thomas, Landry Thomas, Garrett Ray, Ryleigh Ray, Hailey Thomas, Braysen Thomas, his sisters; Donna Stephens, Teresa Lynfoot and husband Jeff, Kim Renick and many other family members and friends.
