Robert Glenn Chatterly

Celebration of life services for Robert Glenn Chatterly, 57, of Seven Points, Texas will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 24, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas with Pastor Ronnie Emola officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Robert passed from this life on May 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 8, 1966, in Pennsylvania to James William and Ruby June (Postlethwait) Chatterly. Robert grew up in Pleasant Grove, Texas before moving to Mabank and graduating from Mabank High School. He spent the majority of his life driving semi-trucks and cracking jokes to make those around him laugh. Robert loved spending time with his family and grandchildren above all else. During his free time, Robert raced cars on dirt tracks and liked fixing up old cars to sell.

Robert is preceded in death by his son, Alfred Whitworth; father, J.C. Chatterly; sister, Cheryl Blakeman; and his treasured cat, Dually.

He is survived by his sons: Daniel Nicholas and wife Krissy, Johnathan Chatterly and wife Katie, Jason Chatterly and wife Jaimie; adored grandchildren: Hadley, Isabelle, Leland, Abbagale, Grayson, Camri, Remington, Hazleigh; mother, Ruby Chatterly; brothers: James Chatterly, Mark Chatterly, Edward Chatterly; his lifelong best friends, Tolly and Laci Taliaferro; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Jason Chatterly, Daniel Nicholas, Johnathan Chatterly, James Chatterly, Mark Chatterly and Edward Chatterly.
