We are here to celebrate the life of Melvin Harold Wise, born September 29, 1953, in Dallas, Texas. He lost his battle to cancer on June 24, 2024, at his home in Seven Points, Texas. He left this world to be with his wife, Martha Marie Wise of 41 years. He joins his father, Melvin Wise; step-mother, Betty Wise; mother, Mary Wise; step-father, Charles Peale; and half-brother, Jimmy Groves (J.R.).
He is survived by his son, Melvin Wise and Jody Walker of Longview; daughter, Kathy Wise and Jesse Murrey of Seven Points; son, Timothy Wise of Seven Points; grandchildren: Emily, Clayton, Karma, Stoney, Layla, Tanner, Jonathan, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Daniel; great grandchildren: Greyson, Bentley, Jayden, Noah, Bladen, Hunter, Charles Michael; sisters: Carolyn Blakenship and husband Larry of Dallas, Mary Ann Reyna and husband Abel of Dallas; brothers: Rowland Wise and wife Barbara of Dallas, Fred Wise of Dallas, Richard Wise and wife Lisa of Red Oak; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was well loved and will be dearly missed but his legacy will carry on.
