Mark Anthony Greenwood I

Mark Anthony Greenwood I, 56, died Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, at his home in Mabank with his family by his side. Mark was born December 7th, 1966 in Grand Prairie, TX to Artie Jack and Mary Lou Greenwood.

Mark was proud to have served with Mabank ISD for 10 years in the maintenance department. He can be best remembered for always having a smile on his face and trying to brighten everyones day. He enjoyed being the life of every party; he loved his Coor Light. Mark enjoyed fishing, family vacations, bowling, playing pool, and going to the casino. He loved spending time with this family, especially his grandchildren, who were one of his greatest blessing. Mark also cherished his dogs, Knucklehead and Ruby, who held a special place in his heart.

Mark is survived by his wife, Phyliss Cooper Greenwood, his daughter Barbara McElroy, her husband Tim, his son Mark Greenwood II, his wife Nikki, his son Charles Greenwood, and his daughter Jayme Roberts, his father Artie Jack Greenwood, his aunt Bobbie Cole, his brother Jack Greenwood, wife Paula, his sister's Mary Smith, Michelle Sanford, Rita, husband Johnny, his grandchildren; Madison, Emma, Christian, Aaron, and Luke, and his many nieces and nephews.

Mark is preceded in death by this mother, Mary Greenwood, his granddaughter Ariel, and his sister Linda Wright.

Mark's viewing services will be held on Friday, December 30th, from 6 pm-8 pm at Eubank Cedar Creek, his funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31st, 2022, at 10 am, at Eubank Cedar Creek with Brother Ed Schauer officiating, and his interment will be at Payne Spring Cemetery following the service.
