Mark Daniel Bennett

Mark Daniel Bennett Sr. entered into eternal rest Monday June 14, 2021. Mark was born November 24, 1967 to parents Alonzo and Bessie Bennett. Mark was a very caring and stern man and to his grandchildren he was known as “Paw-Paw Mark.” He was a simple man who loved to hang out with his family and eat a good steak with potatoes. Mark was also very detail oriented in most things he accomplished. In his down time, he enjoyed watching old westerns, playing the guitar, and looking at vintage cars. Mark was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He was strong in his faith and followed the word of God. Mark will be truly missed by those who cherished him.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents Alonzo and Bessie Bennett; sister, Sherrie Blaylock, sister, Melinda Bledsoe; wife, Suzanne Bennett.

He is survived by his son Mark Bennett Jr; daughter, Tonja Bennett; sister, Ramona Bennett; grandchildren, Ryan, Shaylee, Jaquelynn, and Bentley.

Visitation will be held Saturday at 1:00pm, June 19, 2021 and a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00pm. They will both be located at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home, 601 South 3rd St. Mabank, Texas 75147. Interment will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery.
