Linda Darlene Garrett was born on October 31, 1946 in McMinnville, TN to parents William and Dorothy (Womack) Hash and entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2018 at the age of 71. Linda was known as Darlene to her family and friends. Darlene attended Woodrow Wilson High School and worked as a waitress at McClains for years. She was a very strong and independent lady. Darlene was beautiful inside and out and had a sparkling personality. She was intelligent and clever; everyone came to her needing advise and Linda gave very blunt advice. Darlene enjoyed being on Facebook, watching Jeopardy, working her crossword puzzles and playing Words with Friends. She loved elephants and was a Christian by faith. Darlene was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. All who knew and loved her will miss her.
Darlene was preceded in death by her sister Anita King and brothers; Dennis Hash, Joel Hash and William Hash.
She is survived by her son Richard Saldeen and wife Luci of Forney, daughter Lisa Saldeen of Gun Barrel City, son Kenny Garrett and wife Shelly of Mabank, son Troy Garrett and wife Clarissa of Seven Points, mother Dorothy Miramontez of Mesquite, grandchildren; Torrie Garrett, Jordin Garrett, Sammy Garrett, Shaylee Garrett, Kensey Garrett, Troy Garrett Jr., Dylan Garrett, Mindy Werley, Dillon Werley and Bridgett Werley, great-grandchild Rylee Walden, sisters; Brinda Hash of Seven Points and Stephanie Miramontez, other loving family members and many more friends.
