Lillian A. Riley

Lillian was born on August 24, 1922 in Flensburg, MA to parents Frank Super and Stella Rutz and entered into rest on October 22, 2015 at the age of 93. Lillian was known by her family and friends as “Lil” and “Precious Lady”. She loved her family and friends. Lillian enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing, working in the garden or raking leaves. She loved playing Bingo, making quilts for her family and fixing breakfast on Saturday mornings. Lillian was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years and worked with The American Legion Honor Guard. She volunteered for the newspaper in Greencastle, IN. Lillian was Catholic by faith. She was a very loving and caring lady who will be tremendously missed by all who knew her.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth E. Riley, numerous brothers, sisters and other family members.

She is survived by her son Gale Wayne Riley of Greencastle, IN, daughter Tora Hajek and husband Jeffrey of Gun Barrel City, daughter Lona Perkins and husband Dave of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren; Robert, Jason, Karen, Vickie, Christie, Jeffrey, Nicholas and Anastasia, numerous great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
