Lawrence Austin McMillan Sr. was born January 30th, 1948, in Dallas, Texas to Lawrence Cleo McMillan and Martha Elizabeth McMillan – McCellan. Lawrence entered eternal rest on August 16, 2023, at the age of 75 surrounded by family.
Lawrence joined the Army and served during Vietnam. While proudly serving our country he was injured on a mission. He earned an Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from Eastfield College. Lawrence married the love of his life, Sharon, on December 17th, 1983, where they built a beautiful life filled with love and the Lord. He worked in construction most of his life until he completely retired in 1995. If you knew Lawrence one thing that should come to mind, is he loved to TALK and EAT, a lot. He enjoyed fishing, watching western shows, and spending time with his family playing a friendly game of Dominoes. Well maybe not so friendly at times. He was very competitive and hated losing. Lawrence was a man of integrity and deep faith. He was an active member of Mabank Church of Christ for many years.
