Ladonia Clark

Ladonia Clark was born on March 10, 1936 in Denison, Texas to parents Larry and Winnie (Nichols) Shipley and entered into eternal rest in Athens, Texas at the age of 83. Ladonia liked staying busy, she enjoyed doing crafts and was good at it. She loved going to the Casinos to gamble and was very lucky. Ladonia really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ladonia was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Juanita Lavon Burress, brothers; Billy and James and sisters; Dovie and Ellen.

She is survived by her children; Lola Strickland and husband Warnell of Blue Ridge, GA, Paula Armitage of Tampa, FL, Christine Burress and husband Clyde of Kemp, John Clark and wife Theresa of Payne Springs, Clyde Clark and wife Kathy of Mabank and Frank Clark of Dallas, twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother Larry Shipley of Houston, sister Annie Conklin of Payne Springs, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
