Ken was a resident of Cedar Creek Lake for more than twenty years; he was born in Dallas and grew up in Seagoville, Texas. He graduated from Seagoville High School in 1954 and from East Texas State University in 1959.
Ken was the consummate salesman. His career encompassed sales position at at a variety of companies, ranging from Bonnie Bell Cosmetics to Mattel Corporation; he retired from Tuflex Rubber Products in 2008.
Ken married his beloved wife, Lora, in 1993. He was a wonderful family man and was devoted to his wife and children. In addition to family, Ken was passionate about golf and his volunteer work with the Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels.
Ken was preceded in death by his daughter Donna and his parents.
He is survived by his wife Lora, daughter Shelley, sister and brother-in-law Susan and Porter Hull, brother David, as well as two nieces and one nephew.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church (100 Old Indian Trail Tool, Texas) with Rev. Chuck Weber officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken’s honor can be made to The Community Food Pantry in Tool (P.O. Box 43175 Tool, Texas 75143), Meals on Wheels or Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church.
